Start Where You Are

You don’t need to start with the hardest version. Choose movement that fits your current strength, balance and mobility. Use support, adjust the range and build from there.

Find Your Starting Point

Choose a version you can control
Start with a smaller range, a higher seat or a lower step. Choose a weight that lets you move with control.

Use support when you need it
Hold a sturdy chair, counter or railing for balance. Support can help you practice the movement with more confidence.

Build gradually
When your current version feels manageable, change one thing at a time. Add a few repetitions, increase the weight or try a larger range.
